Elite Sports Education student-athlete Wyatt Lee has officially narrowed his collegiate track and field options to three programs as he approaches one of the biggest decisions of his athletic career.

The Class of 2026 sprinter is down to:

  • Mississippi State University

  • North Carolina State University

  • University of Pittsburgh

Lee, one of the top up-and-coming sprint prospects in his class, has steadily built momentum over the past year with strong performances at the provincial and national levels. His combination of speed, work ethic, and competitive mindset has made him a highly sought-after recruit across multiple NCAA Division I programs.

Each of the three finalist schools presents a unique opportunity:

Mississippi State offers the chance to compete in the highly competitive SEC, known for producing elite sprinters and providing a championship-level training environment.

NC State brings strong ACC competition and a well-rounded program with a proven track record of athlete development.

Pitt—also competing in the ACC—rounds out the list with a program that continues to build momentum and invest in its sprint group.

Wyatt’s decision ultimately comes down to finding the right fit academically, athletically, and culturally—something he has approached with careful consideration alongside his family, coaches, and support group.

Wyatt is expected to make his commitment announcement public on May 5, marking the next step in what is shaping up to be a very promising track and field career.

At ESE, we are proud to support Wyatt throughout his recruiting journey and look forward to seeing what’s next as he prepares to compete at the collegiate level.

Stay tuned for the official announcement.
