ESE Athletes Wyatt Lee and Will Batley Selected to Represent Team Canada at the World Athletics U20 Championships

At Elite Sports & Education, we are incredibly proud to celebrate two outstanding student-athletes who have earned the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in international track and field.

Wyatt Lee and Will Batley have both been selected to represent Team Canada at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon August 5 to 9, an achievement that reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and elite performance.

Representing Canada on the World Stage

Earning a spot on Team Canada is one of the highest honours for any young athlete. The World Athletics U20 Championships bring together the best junior athletes from around the globe, providing an opportunity to compete against future Olympians and world champions.

Both Wyatt and Will have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their training and athletic development, making this selection a well-deserved milestone in their careers.

Meet the Athletes

Wyatt Lee

Wyatt has been selected to compete in the 100m and 200m.

Known for his explosive speed and competitive drive, Wyatt has consistently delivered impressive performances throughout the season. His selection in both sprint events highlights his versatility and standing among Canada's top junior sprinters.

Will Batley

Will has been selected to compete in the 200m.

Will has continued to establish himself as one of Canada's premier young sprinters through consistent performances and a relentless work ethic. Competing in the 200m at the World Championships is another significant step in his athletic journey.
